Saline chlorination
Description
Function:
A small quantity of salt (5 g/l) is diluted in the pool water when installing the saline chlorinator. This lightly salted water is then passed through some titanium plates (electrodes) that have previously been interspersed in the return pipes of the pools water treatment system. When the salt water passes over the electrodes, the slat (sodium chloride) is converted into an active disinfectant, sodium hypochlorite, which destroy seaweed, bacteria and fungus. This disinfectant transforms again into salt, starting the cycle again without producing any losses of this natural elements.
