Compact biological tank filters are commonly used in the treatment of domestic residual water. This occurs in the interior of solid separation, anaerobic digestion and biological filtering.

Description
Function:
Consisting of 3 compartments. In the first a mix of solids takes place and an anaerobic digestion. Due to gravity the water passes to the second tank, where the digestion continues, avoiding the generation of foam. Finally, the water, which is free of solids, enters the third compartment, the biological filter, made from a material with a specific elevated surface, where the aerobic micro-organisms attach themselves. The water is moved through the filter by gravity, meanwhile the flora attached to the filter media starts degrading the dissolved organic material.
Characteristics:
They are produced from 4 to 200 IE, reaching 3m in diameter and 9.5m in length. Manufactured using GFRP.
