Equipment for eliminating calcium and manganese ions from water through a resin mix in which they are substituted by sodium ions
Decalcification
Description
Function:
The decalcification equipment focuses on the use of ion Exchange resins. The resins share a natural affinity with certain ions, in the case of decalcification resins, with Calcium and Manganese ions. These ions are retained on the surface of the resin that frees Sodium ions. By doing so, the elements that provoke the precipitation of the greatest number of salts, are eliminated.
The recommended equipment is controlled by a multi-way valve that automatically controls all these processes. The regeneration process is carried out using time, typically during the early hours of the morning as it is the time of the day with the least amount of water consumption.
