Reverse osmosis equipment to separate low weight molecular substances in solution.
Reverse osmosis
Description
Function:
The function of reverse osmosis is based on the balance that is produced when two liquids with different saline concentration are separated by a semi-permeable membrane. Under these conditions something known as osmotic pressure is established, which permits the pure water with less concentration to flow alongside the one with more concentration until their concentration is equal. If an inverse system is applied, that is to say, a system with higher pressure than the osmotic and in the opposite direction, then it is the water with the higher concentration which is passed to the other side, providing us with water of high quality suitable for human consumption as well as irrigation and industrial uses.
Characteristics:
– Stainless Steel base plate
– Filter with 5 macron cartridges
– High pressure, multi-stage centrifuge pump with a frequency converter.
– Spiral wound membranes (PA/PS). Horizontal assembly.
– Containers reinforced with fibre-glass and with a PVC interior liner.
– Stainless steel valves to adjust the permeate and concentrate Flow and the recycling of the concentrate.
– Dosing station for anti-fouling
– Permeate recycling (as a security system)
– Manual cleaning unit.
– Rinsing with permeate water.
