Nanofiltration equipment for the separation of low weight weight substances in solution.
Nanofiltration
Description
Function:
Nanofiltration is a process using pressure during which a separation, based on the molecular size, takes place. The membranes cause the separation. This technique is mainly used to remove organic substances, such as micro-pollutants and multivalent ions. Then nanofiltration membranes moderately maintain the monovalent salts.
Characteristics:
– Stainless Steel base
– Filter with cartridges of 5 macrons
– Multistage centrifugal pressure pump with a frequency shifter.
– Spiral wound membranes (PA/PS). Horizontal assembly.
– Containers reinforced with fibreglass and with a PVC interior liner
– Stainless steel valves to adjust the flow of the permeate and concentrate and the recirculation of the concentrate.
– Dosing station for the anti-fouling agent.
– Permeate recirculation (like a security system)
– Manual cleaning unit.
– Flushing with permeate water.
