Ultrafiltration equipment for the selective elimination of suspended materials, particles, macromolecules, colloidal materials and micro-organisms.
Ultrafiltration
Description
Function:
Ultrafiltration is a type of filtering carried out using a membrane between microfiltration and nanofiltration that generates a dead-end flow when in operation. Through this ultrafiltration, particles from 0.1 – 0.01 microns that include colloids, viruses, bacteria, oils, pigments and in general made up of a molecular weight greater than 150,000 Daltons. The minerals in the water are not reduced.
Characteristics:
– Polyethersulfone (PES) hollow fibre membranes. Increase in flow of 30%.
– Extremely stable and resistant to temperatures of up to 121ºC
