SBRs are characterised by carrying out the reaction and decanting in the same tank but at different stages. This avoids the problems that can arise from oxidation in recirculating of the traditional systems. Different reaction-decanting cycles can be programmed each day, adapting the purifier to the different flows that can arise.

Applications:
Ideal for inconsistent flows such as campsites, every type of housing complex, restaurants, hotels, etc.
Characteristics:
The standard model is manufactured with diffusers for a volume of between 1.5 m3 and 170 m3.
These reactors are manufactured using GFRP.
Variants:
SBR can also be carried out with denitrification where the anoxic and aerobic phases take place alternately. It includes a shaker to maintain the mix during the anoxic phases and a buffer tank. The total volume varies between 6,5 m3 and 250 m3.
